It’s Autumn. The leaves are turning a golden red and we are back in our skinny jeans, layering up with knits and tailored jackets. It’s also the perfect time to give your hair an elegant update. After the carefree feel of Spring Layers and Summer’s Bad Girl Bob – the next step is the Autumn Chic Bob. Smooth, sleek, blunt cut beauty. This look is all about full, fierce cool. Take it shorter at the back if you still crave layers or keep a little movement around the face, but the overall feel is simple and super classy.
Britney looks amazing with her Chic Bob

Fashion has always looked to ‘unusual’ sources for inspiration, and this season’s most surprising muse was…Barbie. Yep that’s right, the plastic doll you and your sister fought over as children is now a key style icon. Jeremy Scott at Moschino designed an entire collection around everyones favourite blonde, and the fun, bright results are selling fast, having been made available to buy immediately after the collection previewed in Milan.

Jeremy Scott wasn’t the only designer to work with Barbie- the pocket fashionista was ‘Karlified’ by the legend himself, Karl Lagerfeld. The resulting doll sold out on net-a-porter in under one hour, although you die-hard fans can still get your hands on one over at eBay…for a steep mark-up.

Finally, Barbie joined Instagram under the name @barbiestyle a month ago and has nearly 400K followers enjoying her style everyday. From shots of her by the Eiffel Tower during Paris Fashion Week, to nostalgic throwback posts of Barbie and Ken in the 80s, this official account is a must follow for the style obsessed- she might be tiny but Barbie is always impeccably turned out.

Top SS15 Trends To Wear Now
With Paris Fashion Week completing what has been a busy round of shows around the globe, we showcase the strongest trends from next season. Get one step ahead and work these into your wardrobe now!
It was a white out across the board, with heavyweights such as Stella McCartney, Alexander Wang, Chloe and of course Chanel sending pure white looks down the runway. Winter white looks incredibly chic so this is one trend that is definitely worth pulling out now.
Starting in New York with Tommy Hilfiger and Coach, this trend reached fever pitch in London thanks to cool new brand Shrimps. Londoner Hannah Weiland is taking faux fur to the next level, truly cementing it as the desirable option over the real stuff. The perfect look to try over the chilly autumn months.
This isn’t exactly new for SS15 but it is one designers have held onto- great news for those wanting to get ahead in the style stakes as you will probably have sporty styles in your wardrobe already! To give it a new season twist, focus on mesh detail, white and flatform shoes.
The sexy 70s look that has exploded for AW14 continues for SS15. Buy now to wear with skinny jeans and a fedora, then pair with a loose mini dress and lots of Paris Left Bank attitude come spring.
