Petrol Nails A/W 2013

The slickest new nail polish around is totally petrol chic! The ultracool triple colour liquid metal  For the Twill of It by Essie is THE shade of the new season.

This incredible new colour is cool gunmetal infused with purple and green, just like petrol or the the sheer colour of bubbles you blow in the air. This new nail polish is set to take over as the go to shade for those in the know –  and goes with everything this Autumn from leather to lace.

El Hotel, Ibiza – Ultimate Style!

I recently got back from an amazing trip to Ibiza. Staying at the sublime El Hotel, opposite legendary club Pacha – it was gorgeous glamour from the moment we landed. THIS is the way to do Ibiza – the All Things Stylish way! pacha The hotel is a short taxi ride away from the airport and arriving at night is feast for the senses! Lit up – pink neon perfection –  it’s serious glam chic. It’s the party palace with addded elegance all the way. In contrast to the hot pink exterior –  all cool minimalist chic inside. A sleek, white sofa in the lobby, with huge wood carved statues and glossy floors. The ice white bar next door, has luxe features – wood carved chairs, sleek silver seats and fur rugs. bar The lift is an experience – you enter on ground floor level and as you rise – it opens up and you realise its a full glass lift. The lights of the city and the clubs twinkle in the night before your eyes…… or the stunning palm trees and sun lift your senses in the day. el hotel The rooms are incredible. Large, light airy. With huge bed, single/sofa, ipod dock, 10 different light settings,  sleek bathroom with glass sliding doors, generous mini bar and pillow menu – offering different pillows for mood and feeling! The bed was firm with a super luxe white ostrich leather trim and the balcony was the perfect size for sunning in the day and a drink in the evening. hall As if to remind you this is Pacha –  the hallways are lit up pink neon early evening – to really get you in the mood. The bar area is the perfect place to start your night of Ibiza partying…… barThe ultra chic outdoor area plays chilled Pacha tunes  – perfect while you sip a cocktail and get ready for the club! club Entry to the club is free when you stay at El Hotel. Its usually about 50 euros to get in, so this is a great deal if you plan to make Pacha a focal point of your stay. As it’s just across the road, there’s sort of a village feel – we would come back from dinner and wander across – wonderful.  The club itself is amazing – palm tree in the centre – with an outdoor area for chilling out. The VIP area in the centre is a great central point to watch the DJ and see the entertainment. Girls with incredible hair were lowered from the ceiling on stars, while gorgeous glitter covered dancers spun around on stages next to us. The music was amazing and when we finally got back to the hotel, drinks on the balcony were perfect. brek Breakfast is excellent and included in your stay. They serve til 11am, so there’s still time for lie in and fresh oj & omlette! You can order bespoke eggs or from the menu, and the buffet has a wide selection of pastries, toast, jams, fruit scrambled eggs, bacon and mini sausages. It was all delicious, and lovely to sit in the light cool room looking out at the pool. pool day The pool area is gorgeous. Perfect for chilled swimming and serious tanning. It’s a really zen area with day beds and a Ganesh. It was usually pretty empty which was great as its a small area but with smart decking,  a well designed pool and tables for lunch, its the perfect little oasis.  El Hotel will serve you lunch while you lounge in the sun, or at one of the tables. Delicious salads, sandwiches and the main event – the hamburger – rich, tender and moist . A good winelist too. Really attentive staff who want to make sure you have a great time. They provide large soft towels for the pool area and complimentary glass bottles of water whenever you want them. el hotel 2 We spent three days at El Hotel and loved it all.  Amazing food, gorgeous cocktails and loved the chilled glam vibe. A chic contemporary hotel with glam features and fantastic staff. Competitively priced for Ibiza with excellent maid service, good wifi and attentive room service. Fabulous location and they provide chic toiletries in a cool silver bag.  It’s an exclusive escape that is on the pricey side but for an out of this world weekend, you will have an amazing time. We loved it all.  It was a perfect and most stylish weekend in Ibiza…… Rooms (sleep 2/3) from £388 per night

The fashionistas are snipping up the front of their trews and going for a bit of ankle flashing edge.  The split lengthens stripes, adds cool to cotton and was made for denim. First Date Style Tips

You know the old adage: You’ve only got one chance to make a first impression. Well, that holds especially true on a first date with a new guy.

I would recommend wearing something “sexy, flirty, and fun”  Don’t dress too provocatively, though and do not be afraid to show off your shape, just not in a very low-cut or bondage look.

In our opinion at All Things Stylish you cannot go wrong with a well cut pair of jeans and a sexy stileto heel!

Poolside Glam!

Release your inner glamour goddess! It’s August – and the most popular time to go on holiday – so here at All Things Stylish – we tested the BEST products to have in your beach bag to help you feel gorgeous, look amazing and stay protected in the sun…..

The results are in! From the perfect tan extending moisturiser to the dreamiest shimmer nude nail colour, we round up the best of the best…enjoy!

L to R

Hawaiian Tropic Island Berry SPF25  (£7.49 – Boots) Gorgeous moisturising gloss that protects and sparkles in the sunshine. Great colour for day or night. Tastes delicious!

Bobbi Brown – The Shimmer Brick in Bronze – (£35 – Harrods)  Iconic Bronze highlighter from the Queen of natural enchancing make up. Bobbi Brown’s products are amazing and if you haven’t yet tried the Shimmer Brick – it’s a serious style staple. Run your finger along each individual shade and highlight cheekbones, eyes, forehead, anywhere the sun would hit. Sweep your powder brush along all for a blended shimmer.  You wont need a separate eyeshadow this Summer, just pick a shade and blend over lids.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Useage Dry Oil – (£28 – M & S ) Amazing product! With unique concentration of 6 precious oils, this nourishes and soothes your skin and hair –  leaving them incredibly smooth with gorgeous scent. Hair shines and feels light and silky. So many uses, can also be added to foundation for inner glow,  the bath for a relaxing experience, post waxing to soothe areas, spritzed directly onto skin for night out shimmer, added to conditioner to create a hair mask, rubbed onto cuticles and as hair serum. Wow! This product is so infused with natural goodness you will actually feel better using it. Perfect for soothing holiday skin and hair and when you want to highlight your tan.

Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray  (£7.19 – Boots) Cool aqua packaging and sleek bottle with GREAT results. Spray onto wet hair and leave to dry in the sun for perfect beach tousled waves. Smells good too.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzing Powder –  (£24) VERY blendable and natural looking. Stunning colour. Gives you year round glam glow  – in 4 different shades to suit your tan. Lasts and lasts, perfect matte texture for a carefree Summer feel.

Clarins Sunscreen Lotion Oil Free SPF 15 – Progressive Tanning – (£22) I love Clarins sunlotions. They feel fantastic on the skin and smell gorgeous. This brilliant spray does it all.  Light,  effective and small enough to fit in your beach bag. A quick spray and you are out the door and its perfect for poolside spritzing on the go, refreshing in the heat too.

Bobbi Brown Nail Polish – Nude Beach Collection (£12 ) The perfect nude nail shade. Don’t worry about chipping your manicure in the sun, a shimmer shade blends in well with your natural nails so any imperfections are less noticeable. It looks glam yet relaxed – exactly how you want to feel on holiday!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent (£45  Wow! I  adore this.  One spray and you are transported to a gorgeous beach, with the heavenly scent of coconut, sea salt and faint hint of peach blossom in the air. It’s out of this world and limited edition! Bronze Goddess fans will know Estee Lauder slightly change the scent formula and bottles each Summer – the same coconut base but each year something new to accent the aroma beautifully.  I love 2013’s gold bottle and they seem to have the scent combination just right. Its my go-to fragrance this year and I may need to stock up now to keep that Summer feeling going…..

Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Aftersun – Coconut Papaya (£12.99) Gorgeous after sun that gives you a bit of a glow along with a divine fragrance. Perfect to layer with the Bronze Goddess perfume. With natural aloe – it feels wonderfully cool on your skin and leaves you ready for a night out!

Chanel Les Beiges Face Powder   (£38 – Debenhams) I have talked about this wonder product before but its so good its back on this must have list. Light, fresh powder that gives you a healthy glow while reducing shine, what more could you want? Er – it also contains antioxidants, an SPF and botanicals- cotton flower and white rose – wow!

Lancôme Définicils Waterproof High Definition Mascara (£22 – House of Fraser) The famous lengthening, separating and lash defining power-is now waterproof – brilliant! If you need your mascara to last through the day til cocktail time,  without flaking and still looking fresh and natural,  then this is the one for you!

Lancaster Tan Maximiser Soothing Moisuriser  – (£22 – Selfridges) Extend your tan by up to 80% – naturally! No fake tan, just an incredible complex that helps increase melanin production in your skin – and really works! I discovered this lightweight yet intensely moisturising lotion about ten years ago and I use religiously after tanning for seriously soothing tan intensifying!  I always end up looking browner for longer with this and your skin just feels good too.

Have FUN in the sun!

Brilliant Baylee – New Chloé Handbag

Introducing the Baylee. Chloé coolest new bag and the must have shape for Fall 2013. The French fashion house is known for its easy Parisian chic and this new addition to the collection is all about roomy, practical glam. The bi -coloured leather is unlike any other recent statement bag. It’s also is available in ostrich and crocodile, in line with Autumn’s luxe feel.

Wear it over the shoulder or handheld for carefree chic. I really like its relaxed shape, soft leather and chunky chain. There seems to be a real return to practicality at the moment in fashion, with utility  making a comeback this Autumn. Simple, practical, elegant.
