Men -The biggest challenge a man faces in his entire grooming routine is shaving. As every woman knows, a clean-shaven face allows for smoother French kissing and no stubble rash! Boys, we really do appreciate you taking the time to do it as it reeks havoc on our baby soft skin!
As luck would have it we came across a brand new product by Evolutionman, and man were our boys (Guinea pigs) here impressed! I had the pleasure of working with its Creator Marco Berardini’s on a photo shoot. Marco is a world-class hairstylist, makeup artist and groomer for A-list celebrities and after testing his products he can also add skincare expert to his list of credentials!
Each product contains no sulfates, paraben’s, synthetic dyes, Triclosan or GMO’s
We asked our boys to try out this new shaving product from Evolutionman and below is their feedback.
- Mild manly scent
- The packaging – Matte black which looks sleek and masculine and would look good next to any sink. Why should girls all get the fun products!
- It’s so easy to shave with, creating a super chill path for your blades to glide right over. Shaving isn’t so bad.
- Does not lather as much as shaving gels and creams but does produce a very close and comfortable shave
- Leaves the face feeling clean and residue free
- Would purchase again

Its almost May, the sun is shining and our skin is on show! That means getting golden and looking fabulous. Natalie tests the best selections of self tan…..
Colour: I found the colour over all to be very natural and worked with my golden skin tone. I applied the lotion 2 nights in a row to get a good base. There is a colour guide which gives the instantly tanned look, it’s almost a shame that it washes off because it looks good. The colour guide does transfer to clothing and bed sheets but it washes off. I also I found that even after I had showered and removed the colour guide the self-tanner still rubbed off on my clothes.
Smell: It has a sour, chemical smell but it’s not very strong and once I shower to get rid of the colour guide, it washes off.
Overall: I recommend the lotion and would try it again. As with all self-tanners, it’s a bit of an inconvenience to apply but overall worth it for the colour it gives. I like the idea of the colour guide to make sure you don’t miss any spots. I would give this product a 3.5 out of 5
Colour: Great colour and I like the mitt that you use along with the mouse as it makes it easier to apply and it doesn’t get all over your hands. It dries fast and produces great colour. I liked to use the Everyday gradual tan along side this product to make the tan last longer. It does rub off on sheets slightly even after showering.
Smell: Not too bad and washes off after a shower.
Overall: I highly recommend this product and it will definately be an addition to my bathroom cabinet. It is quick and relatively mess free. It’s great for people new to self tanning. I would give this product a 4.5 out of 5
Guerlain of Paris
Colour: Overall color was very natural, a brown color rather than orange and the tan deepened as the hours went on.
Smell: The smell was average like most self-tanners
Overall: I found that the product dried very quickly and could get dressed within 5-10 minutes of application. The product is on the pricey end so I would probably not purchase again. I would give this product a 3 out of 5
L’Oreal Sublime Glow wipes
Colour: Great colour works well with my skin tone. No streaking, watch when applying around wrists and ankles. I found they worked better if I rubbed the towel over my legs first then rest of body. I then went over my wrists, ankles, feet and hands at the end.
Overall: Fabulous for last minute tanning session before bed. Great coverage and colour. I would use again. 4 out of 5
Jergans Natural Glow
Colour: Very gradual colour development, very subtle and I used the darkest colour.
Overall: An average product for the money. 3 out of 5
Sally Hansen Airbrush
Colour: Great coverage, dries very quickly so spray in sections. It almost creates a ‘veil’ on your legs like you are wearing stockings, which seems to cover imperfections.
Overall: A really great product for a good price. It does feel a little chalky and feels slightly dry on skin. I would give this product 4 out of 5
And the WINNER is……

This season Neon Rules! The acid candy rainbow hues – inspired by recent movie Spring Breakers – will pep up Spring, take you through Summer and still flatter a September tan.
Think bright bright bright!! There’s nothing quite like neon and fluorescent shades to lift your spirits in less than brilliant weather, but it really comes into its own when the sun shines. Invest in a good pair of bright skinnies to wear now. These Ichi jeans are fantastic, with an amazing fit – one of my absolute favourite brands. This lightweight neon parka from Gap really pops. It’s perfect for Summer festivals and is the ideal statement piece with a more simple outfit.
For anyone planning their Summer holiday wardrobe now, go for bright candy neon/fluoro shorts – any colour – pink, blue, tangerine, lime. Check out Topshop & Forever 21 for the best bikinis. Add bright flip-flops – Havaianas (£17) are gorgeous, comfortable and will last. It’s such a simple look we can all wear– either with crisp whites or all worn together for maximum impact. Celebs are loving neon as it’s just so much fun! Spring Breakers costume designer and celeb stylist Heidi Bivens even created a range of Spring Breakers style clothes for Opening Ceremony – its everywhere!
For a little extra – Bond No.9 Madison Square perfume smells incredible and the bottle is neon art! Friendship bracelets look great in the sun, Links of London‘s are timeless and very chic.
Add a pair of coloured mirrored sunglasses……
Knockaround Custom Premium Sunglasses above- are fantastic – but ASOS & Rayban have some gorgeous shades too. THE look for Summer 2013.
Lastly – a neon/fluoro handbag goes with everything and is a perfect way to add a splash of colour. Our favourite is from the Cambridge Satchel Company loved by models and celebs. It’s a quality hard-wearing piece that looks amazing (from £115)

Its everywhere! Goodbye to big hair and top buns . Say hello to the Mid Length Bob! This easy to maintain, natural breezy look is totally perfect for Spring. Supermodel Karli Kloss led the way, Jennifer Lawrence debuted her new look this week, Juliane Hough has taken her long bob just that bit shorter and Made in Chelsea’s Millie Macintosh has added lower layers.
We predict big things for this versatile style which can be dressed up or down. The lengths vary – this isn’t a uniform look but more of a feeling. The laid back antidote to extensions and anything too ‘done’. The best thing is it looks great grown out, the key is in the cut. Playful layers that move with you – come Summer you will look ready for the beach!
Put some Spring in your hair!
Enjoy the sunshine……

Whether its your first date with a new guy or a romantic eve with your man – these little beauties will set the scene, make you feel fabulous and look amazing.
Ease into the night by running a warm bath. Light a candle, put on some great music, and slip into the bath….. make your skin silky, soft, and sweet smelling…
Diptique candles are the best. Classic stylish packaging, sophisticated scent, handmade with a 50-60 hour burning time, so super long lasting. Ambre is an elegant scent -with hints of patchouli and tonka bean. (£40 – John Lewis/Liberty)
Submerge yourself in the silky deliciousness of Calm One Calm All bubble bath with built in body lotion by the incredible Soap and Glory (£5.50 – Boots) This super smoother soothes and refreshes you all in one go – the combination of relaxing mallow and stimulating lemon balm really works.
Venus Embrace (£6.29) is the best razor on the market. Looks pretty in your bathroom and gives you the silkiest legs.
After your bath pat the skin dry and apply the honey heaven that is Laura Mercier Honey Creme Brulee Souflle Body Cream -(£43 – House of Fraser) an amazing indulgence that gives you satin like skin.
I’m really impressed with the new wave of BB Creams. This one from Maybelline (£7.99) does it all – light coverage with added glow- it actually improves your skin!
Benefit’s High Beam (£19.50) is still the best in the business – nothing compares when it comes to highlighting and just making you look beautiful. Dab around the eye area and along the cheekbone for stunning results.
Stila’s Kitten eyeshadow (£12) really makes the eyes sparkle. Its such a wearable shade too.
Follow with loads of incredible mascara L’Oreal’s Million Lashes (£10.99) Not only is the packaging stunning, but this is serious stuff, makes lashes look huge, full and very long. I think it rivals YSL’s False Lash and at half the price too.
OPI’s Got a Date to Knight(£11) is the perfect pink for your fingertips!
Our favourite date night scent is Stella Mc Cartney. The bottle looks amazing on your dressing table and its smells wonderful – rose and amber …..and romance!
A modern classic!

It is that time of year again and the wedding season is in full swing! Here are my picks to help you find that perfect dress. 🙂 Have FUN and take a deep breath!!
One of the biggest decisions any bride will face as the big day approaches is choosing that perfect wedding dress. The process of shopping for a wedding dress can be a fabulous adventure, but it can also be stressful and overwhelming and frustrating –particularly because a bride-to-be often starts shopping for her gown before many other details are determined.
You might have previously had had a clear picture of your perfect wedding dress ever since you were five years old. On the other hand, you may have no idea what you are going to wear or feel strange about the idea of wearing white. The important thing is to relax, and remember that there are as many different kinds of dresses out there as there are different kinds of brides.
Here are my picks for the perfect destination wedding dresses.

Beach Beauty Bride

The M.O.D’s – the Models Off Duty. Effortless, stylish and very very cool. Its not just the endless legs and perfect skin – its the clothes. They always look so well put together but so relaxed. Many would argue that with designers at their disposal they will always look good – but most models often just work simple basics – styled well. A textured skirt, an awesome jacket, little boots.
H & M know this and have launched a fantastic range called The New Icons.
This pre Summer collection just hit stores and is inspired by real life models – Joan Smalls, Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixon and Liu Wen – who are showcasing the collection. Statement tees, ankle boots, long skirts, the ultimate leather jacket, fringed bags, an on trend lace mini and wide brimmed hat – classic with a boho feel. Inspired by the girls own wardrobes. Perfect for all the Summer festivals. Wearable, affordable, well done H & M!
